So, I got home from work and my neighbor stopped by and said her dish network crapped out on her. I said I'd go over and take a quick look at it. It will get to the acquire signal screen but it never loads the progress bars. Screen stays like this picture. I then decided to go into the diagnostic menu and got this failure. We had some severe storms the other night and it almost looks like her dish is twisted. I would have got a picture of that too but it was dark out. Will they install the dish's at an angle? Rather than being straight up and down, it's at like a 30 degree angle. What are your guys thoughts? I'm thinking the alignment is messed up because the signal never gets acquired. I'm not a satellite tech guy though and figured this would be the best place to ask. They want to charge her $95 for a visit so if it's a simple fix maybe I can get it done for her. |
