ok, struggling for a week now, and going back to 8.1
When I do a Clean install for Windows 10, I run into the following problems.
1. Starting the laptop, turns it off again. Always need to press the power button 2 x. (and no, it's not in some save mode)
2. The Font/screen sux.. it's burning the hell out of my eyes for some reason.
3. Chipset Drivers won't install. (Even the new ones??) Win 8 chipset drivers will work, but still have 1 SATA left over?
4. Sound seems to be fine, but even with the new VIA drivers, I get no 5.1 under my properties. (not a big issue for me)
5. Lost speed between transferring to USB Drive.
When I upgraded from 8.1 to 10 everything was fine.. but wanted a clean install, so that's what I did, and I cannot get number 2 to work properly.. changed drivers / brightness / contrast etc etc etc.. but no luck.
Anyone else has good results with a CLEAN install ???
