Microsoft store wont connect. Thread starter Fernando19; Start date Dec 21, 2013; Forums. Also my mail app when I click it opens and then closes back to windows, is there a easy fix for this or should I take it back to best buy, is 6 months old so I still have warranty. I've so far seen this on Microsoft Reader (the PDF Viewing App) and XBox LIVE Games apps, the not working issue. The 'won't install' issue I've seen on every single app that I try to install since those two apps referenced above started doing their thing.

Suggest you to try the below mentioned troubleshooting steps and check if it helps.
Method 1:
Run built in Windows Store Apps troubleshooter
* Press Windows Key then type ‘troubleshoot’ and select the same from the list
* Select “View all” on the left panel and run “Windows Store Apps” troubleshooter from the list
* Click Advanced, ensure to check Apply repairs automatically and also select Run as administrator
* Click Next and finish the troubleshooting by following the on-screen instructions.
Post that check if the problem still persist.

Reset the cache of Windows Store
* Open run command by pressing Windows Key + R and type “WSReset.exe” (without quotes) and Hit Enter. Check if it fix the issue.
Windows 10 Store Not Downloading Apps
* If it doesn't fix the issue, then re-register Windows Store by running the following commands in a command prompt window started as Administrator. Press Windows key + X and select Command prompt (Admin) then copy paste the below commands without quotes and hit Enter:
