After doing a clean install of Windows 7 I am missing drivers. Listed in other devices are: Ethernet Controller, Network Controller, PCI Simple Communications Controller, and SM Bus Controller. After looking around the forums is looks like the only thing I need to get back up and running is the Network driver.
I am trying this one at the moment: Dell Wireless WLAN 1501 Half Mini-Card (4313bgn), v.5.60.48.35, A00.
Seeing I have to travel to get this issue fixed. I thought I would post here, so if this does not fix the problem. someone might be able to help me.

1/20/2015 Edit: I am lowering it from a 4 star to a 3 star review. This product is still decent, but the USB connection seems intermittent. So, as stated previously in my review, My Dell XPS 15 9550 laptop needed thunderbolt driver and firmware upgrades that had to be found on the dell website (not automatically downloaded) to get this product to work at all for video. Now it works for video and ethernet (which is what i really wanted it for) but does not work well for USB. I have read other reviews mentioning problems with the USB, so the USB problem may not be with just my Dell laptop but I cannot say for certain as the Dell laptop is the only product I have that has a USB type C/Thunderbolt 3 port.
I am giving this item 4 stars since the Adapter itself seems fine, the problems with it appear to be related to using the Dell Adapter with a Dell Laptop. I have the Dell XPS 15 9550 laptop with bios 1.1.15 and out of the box, this adapter did not work.
I then tried the Dell Update utility on my Dell XPS laptop and still it did not work. In fact, the Dell update process did not appear to find any software to update at all.
Next I went to the dell website to look for drivers. I found new thunderbolt drivers for my laptop released on January 8. I downloaded the Thunderbolt driver for my laptop and installed it. I also installed the thunderbolt firmware update released in November just for good measure.
After installing the new driver and updating the firmware, I was able to get the Dell Adapter to work. I was able to run and HDMI monitor (1080p), ethernet connection, and a usb wireless keyboard all at the same time without any issue.
The drivers you need to make this adapter work with the dell xps 15 9550 are the Intel Thunderbolt Controller driver located in the chipset driver section of dells website
