- I was wondering if anyone knows what type of wlan card is in the averatec 3200 notebook? It is not detected by suse 9.1 and i would appreciate any averatec 3200 wlan suse 9.1 Share your knowledge at the LQ Wiki.
- DELL XPS 410. Installed retail version of Windows Vista Ultimate. Vista keeps prompting for driver for 'PCI Simple Communications Controller'. Vista could not find driver online and the forums here seemed inconclusive on what this device could be (it may be a general/default name for many unknown/unsupported devices).
So I did the win. 10 update and chose not to keep any personal settings/files and it feels like a fresh upgrade.
Went ahead and uninstalled the video driver and downloaded the newest one from the Nvidia site.
I noticed I have two unknown drivers in the device manager. I've searched this forum already, but didn't find anything.
The two drivers missing are:
PCI simple communication controller,
SM bus controller.
Any idea where I can find these as I've already installed all the available drivers for Win 10 on the ASUS Site.
